Our clients often ask us for the level of risk of travelling to Morocco. With our experience of more than twenty years, we have always trusted and we still trust this country. Our tours go through wonderful places, full of charm and people who are connected with the nature that surrounds them. They are humble, generous, respectful and love the visitors because, as they say, they are a gift from God. Whether mountain or desert, the populations, mainly Berbers, are the heart of Morocco.
In general our trips start and end in the cities: Marrakesh, Fes, for example. They are sensitive spaces. But Morocco, with almost 10 million tourists passing through these places, has one of the best security policies we can imagine. In monuments, important squares, markets, crossings, you will find police everywhere. It may surprise you at first but you will understand its role: the constant presence to know what is happening day to day.
This is certain, we do not recommend points of important cities like Casablanca that are not tourist, nor the adventures by tracks without a guide who knows the terrain perfectly ….
The advantage of travelling with us as a travel agency is that we know the place well and we go there and take there clients often. We are always informed of what is happening in the territory.
It is obvious that you can say: “things have already happened …” And you are right, but in fact, less incidents than in some European countries.
In this case, I think it is important to have information from several sources. This week, the “ministère des affaires étrangères à Quai d’Orsay” of France, a European reference of updated state information of foreign countries, hangs a world map on its website: http://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/fr/conseils-aux-voyageurs/conseils-par-pays/, with security levels all over the world. Morocco, a safe country, the only one in all of Africa.
We are very proud that Morocco is at this level of security like other countries in Europe.
We encourage you to travel with peacefully and security to this country that we has fallen in love with it for years, Morocco.
Don’t doubt to contact us for any information.
